WINTER 2025: Techniques for Sewing Denim

Course Description

Sew your next denim project with ease! In this four-week class, students learn proper needle and thread choices for denim fabric, how to sew flat-fell seams, top stitching considerations, sewing a zipper fly and button fly, sewing a jeans pocket, a patch pocket and belt loops. Expect two hours of optional homework between classes. Prerequisite: Basic sewing skills Class meets once a week for four weeks. Class on March 1, 2025, will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 pm (PT). Cost: $149 Class size: 12-15 students All classes are online through Zoom. Class recordings are available to students for eight weeks after the session ends. Refund Policy: Full refund if cancellation request is received seven days or more before the start date of the class. No refunds within seven days of the start date.
